Solar LED Lights

Solar-powered outdoor lights are the best way to brighten your outside space. Affordable, durable and easy to install, solar LED lights are powered exclusively by the sun’s energy, with no requirement for unsightly trailing leads around your garden or difficult and expensive wiring solutions.

Outdoor solar lighting is powered by photovoltaic solar sensors that collect solar energy during the day and store it in internal batteries ready for use at night. Our solar-powered LED lights have photoresistors that allow the solar LED lights to detect low external light levels – this ensures they conserve power and only turn on when needed as the sun goes down. Our solar LED garden lights only require 4-7 hours of sunlight per day to fully charge and are reliable enough to be active for up to 24 hours a day, every day. Many of our outdoor solar lights even have movement detection sensors, such as our am tech 15 LED solar PIR light, allowing them to turn on when movement is detected – perfect for outdoor security lighting.

Do solar led lights work in winter? Our solar-powered lights even work through winter, provided the solar panels have access to direct sunlight throughout the day.

How to wire a solar panel to a led light? Many of our products come complete with separate solar panels that are simple to install, require no additional wiring and provide all the power the solar LED lights need. Should you ever need to wire up a solar panel to outdoor solar lights, however, the process couldn’t be simpler. By stripping a small amount of insulation from your solar panel’s wire and joining the positive and negative wires to the positive and negative wires of your LED light, you should have fully-powered solar LED light in moments.
